May Daze.
That was an all right month, not too shabby. I think most importantly I liked the fact that I kept myself busy without needing to stick to a schedule too much. Then again I still have some motivation issues, most likely to do with my sleep schedule which I'm hoping to return to a balance with these Valerian extract tablets I'm taking. Worth a shot, Mum would like to take me to the naturopaths for a check up and I might just have to do it. Last check up I've had was in late 2006 in China when I was getting a second opinion on my liver, diagnosis wasn't very good. But that was almost three years ago, it's probably a good idea to see if I've been getting better or just better at living with it.
I realised today that uni doesn't start for 2 months, that one month more than I thought it was. I have to go into Sarina Russo tomorrow to meet with my case worker, we both know there's not much point to it but we have to do it anyway. In six weeks I should be able to apply for Austudy at which point I won't have to worry. I'm just glad I've got a case worker that's very understanding.
On to the monthly tasks, I've been smoke free for just over two weeks now and I'm really hoping that this will be the last time I quit. I have had some close calls, where I've had to persuade myself not to by a pouch. That's been one of the biggest hurdles this month, continuously persuading myself that I don't want to drink and smoke. I think it's because I haven't had much to do, a little boredom, the fatigue causing stress and still being addicted in general. I don't think it would take much for me to start again, a good reason to keep stress to a minimum this month. Here's hoping that it won't be much of a hassle in June.
Finished the design for the Hey Rain website, just have to fill in the content. I believe Dad may have lost a bit of interest in it for the moment being that he's got so many other things to worry about. So I'll just keep slowly finishing it off and it should be online by the end of June.
I did end up buying a helmet, but haven't had the motivation to go for a ride just yet. Need a riding partner or something, that always makes moving much easier. Well I'm heading round to Eliza's tomorrow in Chelmer, that's an excellent opportunity to dust off the bike. Say no to laziness!
Can't think of much else, June's basically going to be the same as May as far as I can see. I think I'll slowly start working on the On Earth site again and perhaps even begin the daily tasks section of this site. Pretty dull monthly update, will do better at the end of June I hope.
Laters all.
Andy Scott
